Configurations
Every bathtub and bathroom layout is different. We install all four major configurations to fit your space perfectly.
Two panels slide past each other on overhead and bottom tracks. The most popular choice for standard 60-inch alcove tubs.
A single panel swings open from wall-mounted hinges. Provides the widest entry for easy access and comfortable step-in.
A single fixed glass panel at one end serves as a splash guard. No moving parts, no door mechanism -- minimalist elegance.
Designed for curved, oval, and freestanding tubs. Custom-bent tempered glass follows the tub contour for full enclosure.
The Upgrade
The average homeowner replaces shower curtains and liners every 6 to 12 months. Glass is a one-time investment that lasts decades.
| Feature | Shower Curtain | Glass Enclosure |
|---|---|---|
| Lifespan | 6 to 12 months before replacement | 20+ years with zero replacement |
| Cleaning | Machine wash or toss, mold returns quickly | Quick squeegee or spray, stays clean |
| Appearance | Sags, discolors, hides your tilework | Sleek, modern, showcases your bathroom |
| Water Containment | Blows inward, leaks at edges and bottom | Sealed on all sides, water stays inside |
| Home Value | No impact on appraisal or buyer appeal | Increases perceived value significantly |
| Mold Resistance | Mold and mildew magnet, especially liner | Non-porous surface resists mold growth |
Universal Fit
No matter what kind of bathtub you have, we custom-measure and fabricate an enclosure that fits precisely.
The most common tub type. Bypass or hinged doors fit perfectly between three walls.
Custom-angled glass panels that follow the corner tub profile with watertight seals.
Floor-mounted glass panels and hardware designed for freestanding and clawfoot tubs.
Glass mounts to the deck surround with tracks designed for the wider rim profile.
Premium Options
Personalize your enclosure with premium glass types and hardware finishes that match your bathroom fixtures.
Low-iron glass with no green tint. Crystal clarity that showcases your tilework and lets natural light through unaltered.
Textured glass for shared bathrooms that need privacy. Rain pattern diffuses light beautifully while obscuring visibility.
Factory-applied easy-clean coating that repels water, soap scum, and mineral deposits. Reduces cleaning effort by up to 90%.
All hardware matches popular faucet and fixture finishes from Kohler, Moen, Delta, and more.
Preparation
Three quick measurements help us prepare your quote. Not sure? We measure for free during your consultation.
Measure the distance from wall to wall at the top of the tub rim. For standard alcove tubs this is usually 60 inches. Measure at the top, middle, and bottom -- walls are not always perfectly parallel.
Measure from the top of the tub rim straight up to the ceiling. This determines the maximum glass panel height. Most enclosures range from 56 to 72 inches tall.
Measure the flat surface width of the tub rim itself. This determines the bottom track style. Narrow rims need clip-mount tracks, while wide rims accommodate standard channel tracks.
Not sure about measurements? No problem. We provide free on-site measurement during your consultation and verify everything before fabrication begins.
Our Process
Every bathtub enclosure installation follows our proven four-step process. Most installations are completed in a single visit.
We check the tub rim for level, measure wall plumb, and verify material compatibility. Acrylic, fiberglass, cast iron, and stone all require different mounting approaches.
Overhead track and bottom channel are precisely aligned and secured. We use stainless steel anchors for the wall header and silicone-set channel on the tub rim.
Tempered glass panels are carefully lifted into the track system. We adjust roller height for smooth sliding and verify panel alignment with a precision level.
We run water at full pressure to test every joint, seal, and sweep. Any areas where water escapes are re-sealed on the spot before we leave.
Average installation time: 2 to 4 hours for standard enclosures
