By accessing the Expert Glass Repair LLC (“Company”) website at expertglassrepair.com, using our interactive tools, or engaging us for glass repair, installation, or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or request our services.
Expert Glass Repair provides glass repair, replacement, and installation services throughout the Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland metropolitan area. Our services include but are not limited to:
All interactive tools, configurators, calculators, and AI-generated visualizations available on expertglassrepair.com are provided as complimentary planning resources for informational and inspiration purposes only. They do not constitute professional engineering advice, construction documents, or guaranteed specifications.
Accurate field measurements by a licensed glass technician are required before any fabrication or installation. Results generated by our tools may vary based on actual site conditions, local building codes, structural requirements, HOA regulations, and environmental factors.
Expert Glass Repair is not liable for decisions made solely based on tool outputs without professional on-site consultation. Our interactive tools are designed to help you explore options and communicate preferences -- they are not a substitute for the professional assessment that precedes every Expert Glass Repair installation.
Specific tool limitations include but are not limited to:
Certain features on our website use artificial intelligence to generate photorealistic renderings and visualizations of glass installations. By using these features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
All estimates provided by Expert Glass Repair are free and non-binding until accepted by the customer. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices include materials, labor, installation, cleanup, and disposal unless explicitly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to adjust pricing if job conditions materially differ from those assessed during the estimate (e.g., hidden structural damage, code-required upgrades). Any price adjustment will be communicated and approved by the customer before work proceeds.
A deposit is required for custom materials and larger projects. The deposit amount will be clearly stated in your written estimate. The remaining balance is due upon completion of work. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards. No net-30, net-45, or net-60 terms are offered.
Expert Glass Repair provides a Comprehensive Workmanship Warranty on all installations. This warranty covers defects in our installation workmanship. The warranty is transferable to new property owners. Manufacturer product warranties apply separately and vary by product. See our Warranty page for full details.
Customers may cancel a scheduled service appointment with at least 24 hours notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a trip charge if a technician has already been dispatched. Custom-ordered materials (custom-cut glass, specialty hardware) are non-refundable once ordered, as they are fabricated to your specific measurements.
Expert Glass Repair shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services, website, interactive tools, or AI-generated content. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from:
Our total liability for any claim related to our physical services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Our total liability for any claim related to website tools or AI features shall not exceed zero, as these are provided as complimentary resources at no charge. We maintain full commercial liability insurance and are bonded in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the work area. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, structural deficiencies, or damage caused by others. If we discover conditions that affect our ability to safely or properly complete the work, we will communicate these findings and may need to adjust the scope or pricing of the project.
When we assist with insurance claims, we act as a facilitator between you and your insurance company. We are not responsible for claim outcomes, coverage determinations, or payment delays by insurance carriers. The customer remains ultimately responsible for payment if an insurance claim is denied.
