A steam shower enclosure is a fully sealed glass system that extends from floor to ceiling, designed to contain the steam produced by a built-in steam generator. Unlike standard shower doors that leave open space above the glass, steam shower enclosures close every gap to prevent steam from escaping into the bathroom.

The enclosure typically includes fixed glass panels, a swinging door with compression seals, and a transom panel above the door that fills the gap between the door and the ceiling.
